Payment and Cancellation Policy

  1. At the start of each month, Smart Tutors will send a monthly invoice to each student.
  2. Payment for the whole month is due at the start of the month; e-Transfer is preferred (or cash or cheque).
  3. Each student is expected to attend one (1) class session per week to reserve his/her weekly spot. 
  4. Changes to his/her four weekly sessions must be made before the monthly invoice is sent out.
  5. Smart Tutors will give a full and total credit if your teacher/tutor needs to cancel a weekly class session.
  6. Smart Tutors allows for emergency cancellations under the following:  
    i) the student must call us directly at 403 613 0364 to notify the teacher of the emergency cancellation,  
    ii) the phone call is in advance of two (2) full business days from their weekly class session, and also,  
    iii) the class session must be rebooked before the end of the month.
  7. Unfortunately, Smart Tutors cannot refund fees for an emergency cancellation that is not rebooked within the same month of the cancellation.
  8. Smart Tutors cannot be responsible for poor traffic or weather conditions that result in a cancelled class session.
