Watching this play will help you when you have to read the script. Full of flash backs, family conflict and a "skeleton in the closet."

ß To Kill a Mockingbird 10-1

Even though a movie can NEVER replace reading a novel, you might want to watch this film. This film is two hours long, but the novel is 12 hours. So there is no comparison. However, watching this film will get you started understanding the serious social problems discussed in Harper Lee's novel.

ß  Brave New World (film) 30-1

If you think this film is awful, you should read the book!! I hate to be a critic but it Huxley's novel is weird and the movie does a good job of making that weird world come to life. Anyway, the audio book is 8 hours and this movie is 3. But the film helps you get an overall idea of what is going in before you get into the novel.
