Candidates wishing to work for the Federal Government of Canada are often asked to take a Second Language Evaluation. This evaluation is very similar to the DELF (Diplôme d’Etude de la Langue Française). This test was made to validate their level in the French language. The test is divided into four (4) levels, from beginner to advanced: A1, A2, B1 and B2.
When you take the Second Language Evaluation, you will see that it tries to set realistic objectives and to correspond to actual daily-life situations.
